The Victorian house boasts a charming country setting where couples and their guests can gather to celebrate the special occasion in style. Ideal for intimate micro weddings, the cozy tearooms bring people together with their historic decors and welcoming atmosphere. Facilities and Capacity

The Lovely House can accommodate 25-50 guests for private wedding events in their main floor event space; our Angel/Cherub room can also host a private group of 12-16.

Alternatively, the Rose Room is a beautiful room that comfortably seats up to 20 guests for ceremonies and receptions. The venue specializes in afternoon tea parties and regularly caters to private events and visiting guests with freshly baked scones, clotted creams, pots of tea, and quality conversation time.

Our meal options are AFTERNOON TEA, HIGH TEA or a specialty catered menu!

Newlyweds can walk the grounds and take in the beauty of the garden gazebo for their photos or the exquisite covered verandah and a grand staircase also makes an attractive backdrop to photographs.

Services Offered

Couples can enjoy all-inclusive wedding packages at The Lovely House Intimate Events Venue, complete with catering, decors, and waitstaff. The in-house kitchen can prepare and serve delicious platters of baked treats and finger sandwiches served with tea. Staff will happily cut and serve the cake provided by the wedding party. This afternoon tea experience includes flowers, tables, chairs, and delightful table decors to complete the big day.

Our site fee is booked in windows of 3 hours for your privacy including the bridal parlour, ceremony room, dining areas, outdoor gardens, gazebo, covered verandah; along with your personal planner and coordinator. You have the option to add additional time to your event. We want you to have ease and assurance for your special day so we take care of preparations including our recommended vendor list things we don't do; our services include; set-up, meals served on vintage china, silverware, glassware and the you just have to show up!

Event time ranges from three to six hours at a time, providing couples with enough time to make their vows, enjoy a Champagne toast, and enjoy gourmet cuisine.
